Hello G-Linx Fans,
Just wanted to let you all know that we have returned safely from our 22 day tour in Korea, Japan and Guam! It was a great adventure and we had a blast performing for our troops overseas. We met so many great people and hope to have made some more fans and family. Our first stop was in Korea and we did 6 shows in 6 days!!! Thanks to the unknown soldier who bought the band a bottle of Jager at our first show! Whats up to all the stage divers as well. Korea was a blast.
Japan was next and not as many consecutive shows, but a lot of great shows! Thanks to all who came out and had a good time. Special shout out to DJ 2Tru in Misawa for helping out at the show and the after party! Japan was a place of new experiences in dining! We ate all kinds of sushi like eel, fish eggs, squid and even RAW HORSE MEAT! It was so delicious we ordered another round and yes our manager, whose diet overseas consisted of Burger King, McDonalds and pizza tried the Raw Horse meat after being teased and pressured by all to try one thing new.....he went hard on that one! Besides this highlight we got to see Hiroshima which had a great impact on all.
Finally we hit Guam which was beautiful! Bakke and Lorn got burned for not using sun screen.....idiots! That sun is hot! We also got to meet Edwin McCain and open up for him at the Naval Base. He was a nice guy and dug our music....or at least he said he did. Thanks Edwin.
We traveled for 20+ hours and finally made it home!
Check out our dates when we perform. We will not be at Sonomas Tuesday but will be at the Whiskey Thurs, Virginia Friday and Saturday then next Tuesday at Sonomas. We are also playing a new venue the following week in Old Ellicott City at La Palapas! So come check us out.
Thanks again for all your support and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Cheers
The Grilled Lincolns
