Welcome to The Grilled Lincolns
Happy 2012 everyone! We are excited to be headed back to see Frank Marchand this week to wrap up the recording of our 4th studio album. In the meatime, a few shows have been added including some dates in PA, Virginia and NYC. There are some other tours in the works for this year too, but please feel free to hit us up on our facebook and tell us where we should come!! Also, we covered most of Snoop’s “Doggystyle” last month at the 8×10 in Baltimore and actually got lots of good recordings of it, so be on the lookout for some of that footage to be packaged soon – We are thinking free download maybe? Hey guys, thanks again to all who helped spread our music over the last two months for our free download giveaway! Our latest comedy cd “How the Fuck are We Not Famous” was Downloaded almost 500 times, with RBW and R20′s each being downloaded over 350 times! We hope to see some of our new fans out as shows as we hit the road next weekend – check the UPDATED shows section for more info.
We are 90% done recording our 4th album with Frank Marchand at Waterford Digital Studios in Washington DC, and we are super excited to get it out to you! It shouldn’t be too much longer…Look for big news in the next coming months.
Also, congrats to Big Ron & Mrs. Big Ron aka Ang $ on Gettin’ Hitched last month, and to Vinnie and Theresa Sisca!!

The last part of August always sucks. Sorry for the delay on updating the site! We’ve got a real quick update for ya!
Friday, August 12th we’re rocking at Armadillo’s in Annapolis, MD! Our boy Nick Briggs is gonna open up for us as we’re gonna help celebrate his sister Ashley’s birfday! We’ll be playing two fantastically amazing sets directly after him. Show starts at 10pm. 21+. $5 cover.
And of course, SILOPANNA FEST on Saturday, August 27th at the Anne Arundel County Fairgrounds with roughly a million AMAZING ACTS such as: Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, Trombone Shorty, Matt & Kim, Harper Blynn, Fitz and The Tantrums, Pasadena, Sweet Leda, Bond & Bentley, Jimmie’s Chicken Shack, Tobias Russell and The All Mighty Senators. WHAT. You can get tickets through us for $10 less then if you buy them from Rams Head or Silopanna’s website. So holler at your boys and save some dough yo!
We’ve got a rack of things we’re working on for the end of the summer and for the fall and we need any internet/youtube/vimeo/promo help that YOU are willing to give would be much appreciated and we’ll hook you up with free entrance to shows, free CDs and mad props yo!

We love boats and festivals, so it really pleases us to announce another show on a boat and 2 bad ass festivals.
Also get your tickets now for Acme’s Castaway Jam on the Harbor Queen with G-Linx, Pasadena and Pressing Strings Thursday July 21 at 7pm. The boat leaves from the Annapolis Dock and you can purchase your tickets at Acme Bar and Grill in Downtown Annapolis. Its $50 for all three bands and OPEN BAR until 10pm….Do the math, its more than worth it!
This Saturday will be performing at midnight at the Maryland Independent Label Festival, or MILF Fest, at Fishhead Cantina in Arbutus MD.

Hey kids – two very unique and cool shows are coming up this weekend! Friday we are playing last at the 8×10 for MEGAWILL’S 30th anniversary. Yup – Will from the Dena is doing it big for his 30th. Then we are hitting up DNL’s Jam at the Damn in PA. This show is an overnight camp out and features some other ill bands. Check the shows page for more details.
Thanks to everyone who came out this last weekend to check us at Eastport-A-Rocking at the super awesome Raft up Yacht party show afterwards.

For the past three plus years, Jeremy Ragsdale has been a integral part of The Grilled Lincolns. It saddens us to announce today that Jeremy will no longer be a member of our band. Jeremy will be moving out of Maryland to continue his career in music, both in composition, arrangement, teaching and performance. We wanted to announce this today before the rumor mill picked up speed and also so that you could hear it from us. We as a band want to Thank Jeremy, and to wish him the best of luck. As for the Grilled Lincolns, No shows will be cancelled and we too will be moving forward with our music. We also wanted to let you, the fans, know that Jeremy has already recorded the majority of our upcoming fourth album with us, so you will be hearing us together again in the near future. Thank you again to everyone.

Our Buddies from The D (The other D) DOWNTOWN BROWN are returning to melt faces and offend Conservatives, and we couldn’t be happier. Saturday June 17th, World-Famous SONOMAS in Columbia MD will be hosting the throw down. 21 to get in, $5 cover and free zombie masks from a dude in a van out in the parking lot.
Speaking of the Living Dead, Our new CD is Now Available!! Thanks to everyone who helped make the CD release Show such a good time. I might as well say our new collection of MP3′s is out because thats how 94% of you will be purchasing it. It will up on I-Tunes in about a week – we will keep you posted! We had a night off and did what we enjoy doing next to playing…..watching other GREAT bands play. So we jumped in the van and road tripped it to NY to check out Wax, Soulive, Pharoahe Monch and SLOP’s favorite band….Lettuce! We were shocked when Talib Kweli came out and performed…great surprise. So we had an awesome night and got to meet a lot of cool people and support our boy WAX.
